Overcoming an addiction to nicotine has never been straightforward .
Nick Holden shares his journey with the world and his insights are startling.
He quickly recognizes the medical negatives of addiction to concentrate on what, for him, is the core of the addiction: a disconnection with the inner self, the loss of one's own power over one's lived experience stolen by the misplaced authority given to nicotine.
This book is Nick's journey which can become your journey. A journey to the realization that freedom from the addiction will give you all you thought nicotine would give you; but never received.
Reviews
Not only is this book the prompt and facilitator but also the support group and aftercare ... This book is probably the most valuable investment I have ever made in myself.

This wonderful book was my companion, my teacher throughout this journey. What it taught me was that I had much to learn. Thank you ... for writing it.

The Author
Nick is a writer, mindfulness meditation teacher and addiction specialist. His other career as a musician, audio engineer and DJ has taken him to all corners of the globe, and he tours globally with the band Ott & The All-Seeing I. The epiphany that led to his writing this book was a unique and unexpected side-effect of the spiritual and psychological climate of the electronic dance music culture in 1990s Britain. He discovered inadvertently that he had a natural aptitude for successfully communicating his new state of awareness to other people, so that he became “the guy who can help you stop smoking”. He lives in Cornwall with his wife and cat.
