Footsteps Press was founded in 2009 by Daniel Benshana to publish art and literature books in the tradition of fine design within the digital publishing revolution. The mission statement of the Press is to give authors the maximum creative freedom for the presentation of their work.
To date there are 24 books on the list, including Farmer Fisher, an illustrated children’s book by artist Jonathon Coudrille, Memorials of Two Quiet Lives, a tribute to Graham and Ann Arnold, founders of the Brotherhood of Ruralists, along with Peter Blake, Genius a life of Richard Trevithick who manufactured the first steam engine, and The Other Side of Eden about the Eden Project.
The publisher’s mother is the poet Shänne Sands and he has published five collections of her work. He is also the UK editor of the bi-monthly art magazine, New Art Examiner, which simultaneously publishes in the UK and USA. He lives in Cornwall in the far south west of the UK.
